As a Male Support Worker in RCT, you’ll help make the everyday remarkable for the people we support.
We are dedicated to supporting those with learning disabilities to live a fulfilled and enriched life in the community, as a Support Worker, you can play a vital role in this.
Role: Male Support Worker
Location: RCT
Hours: 30 hours per week. Your shift pattern will include weekends and sleep-ins
Salary: £12.74 per hour and our sleep-in shifts at £60 per night and our travel expenses is paid 45p per mile

What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you’ll actively support 9 adults each living in their own bungalow to be as independently as possible, they require various levels of support from being mostly independent and requiring only 15 hours per week to requiring 24-hour support with all aspects of their life, each person has their own interests and needs.
As a trusted Support Worker, you'll empower people to follow through on these choices, including taking part in structured activities that build confidence and develop new skills. You’ll also offer practical support to help them meet responsibilities like paying bills, maintaining their homes, being good neighbours, and staying connected with friends and family.
Your goal is to make everyday remarkable through enhancing well-being and focusing on the small, meaningful moments that bring joy and purpose. By offering this kind of person-centred support every day, this truly is a fun and rewarding role for the right person.
